For application and database workloads, discuss peak CPU demand, memory use, disk I/O and traffic between services with us. For storage-heavy workloads, include expected data growth and backup requirements so we can size the whole environment.
Central device licensing included with every VM.
Every virtual machine you order from DC Core includes its device licence for DC Core Central. Access all Central software features, including monitoring, inventory, remote tools, backup-management capabilities and supported relay connection modes for compatible agents.
Relay modes do not require separate software licences. Normal monitoring, administration and interactive remote access are included in standard connectivity. High-volume continuous transfer, large-scale replication, dedicated capacity and specialist connectivity are scoped separately. Backup storage, retention and managed operational work are defined in your hosting agreement.

For a business web application, this can mean DC Core operating the servers, access paths and infrastructure monitoring while your developers maintain the application release and business logic. Application support can only transfer where it is explicitly agreed.

The standard managed design uses London, United Kingdom for production tenancy data and France, European Union for disaster recovery. Another arrangement must be agreed explicitly.
Global relay, DNS and edge-security services may route encrypted traffic or process limited metadata. They are not intended as primary storage for managed customer tenancy data. Read the residency detail.
Daily backups are the standard cycle for platform-managed systems. Retention, recovery point objectives and recovery time objectives depend on the service and agreement; dedicated standby or specific recovery commitments require a workload-specific design.
What we manage and what your team manages.
DC Core operates the infrastructure and platform components in scope, including the agreed hardening, patching, monitoring and network controls. Your team remains responsible for application code, configuration, business logic, data and integrations unless separately managed.
You also retain user approvals, data classification, lawful processing, retention requirements and application-level protection. Third-party systems outside our control remain with their provider. The service schedule records the final division of responsibility.
